Handcarved oxidised Sterling Silver ring with 9ct Gold band
What we love about this ring:
Comet 01 ring is bold and full of contrast, the handcarved edges are crisp and the textures are pronounced. The Sterling Silver has been blackened through oxidation to amplify the colour contrast with the 9ct Gold.
The ring was handmade using traditional wax carving, two rings were then cast - one in gold and one in silver. Each was then expertly split and reassembled to create a blended mixed metal ring.
Like all of our Meteor collection, it’s designed to slowly change over time, with high contact areas slowly weathering to reveal the shining silver underneath.
It’s made with 100% recycled Gold and Sterling Silver
How is it different to Comet 02? The gold band is slightly thinner than Comet 02 and all the edges are even sharper and crisper.
